Before and during your studies at the French Language Institute
Evaluation
Just after your arrival at the institute, you will pass a written examination that will help us to determine precisely your level. We will be able then to propose you an adapted group level which will suit the best your needs and your knowledge.
Progress follow-up
Throughout your learning, you will be able to discuss with your teacher or the studies coordinator about your progress. At the end of each session, you will pass an examination and if you made sufficient improvement, you will continue in the upper level.
At the end of your studies at the French Language Institute
Level Certificate
At the end of your stay with us, you will receive (upon request) a certificate stating the number of hours attended and the level you reached.
Courses Attendance Certificate
The course attendance certificate is delivered (on request) if the student has completed a sufficient number of courses.
The Diploma of the French Language Institute
To pass the Diploma of the Institute of French Language, you must have completed at least three months of classes. The exam is in June.

| OTHER CERTIFICATIONS |
The Test of French Knowledge (T.C.F.)
The French Language Institute is also an official center of examination of the T.C.F and all our students can pass this tests at the Institute.
The T.C.F. is prepared by the CIEP (International Centre of Pedagogical Studies) on the request of the National Education Ministry.
The T.C.F. is a multiple choice questionnaire testing your abilities in the following fields:

The T.C.F. also proposes two additional written and oraltests. Depending on the results, you canhave a direct access to the D.E.L.F or the D.A.L.F.
If you successfully passed the test,you will receive a certificate.

D.E.L.F. (Diploma of French Language Studies)
D.A.L.F. (Advanced Diploma in French language)
The French Language Institute proposes preparation courses for the D.E.L.F and the D.A.L.F. These two diplomas are the only French language diplomas officially recognized by the Ministry of National Education in France.
